Six-Twelve Convenience store opens.

Operated by Abu Musa, it is located at 628 East Broadway. Musa had formerly operated a Seven-Eleven Store across the street, but was dropped as a franchisee because he refused to stock hot food – including hot dogs – because it was not selling. His revenge is to open his own store across the street, which stays open for longer hours.
